BF1 & BF2 were pretty good games and they were lots of fun, but neither of them was anything like I was expecting nor what Pandemic & LucasArts promised us.

If they do, hopefully Free Radical will maximize all of Wii's capabilities. In regards to BF3, Wii would be absolutely perfect for this type of game and LA would be extremely stupid not to bring it to it. That being the case, they decided it would be prudent to not port the game to Wii. They were former Rareware employees, afterall. They've always had a very good relationship with Nintendo in the first place. Well, I guess it's obvious now that I'm a Star Wars nut.Įdit this post: Guys, Free Radical has expressed major interest in developing for Wii. I really hope Free Redical does Battlefront 3 right. *takes deep breath* Okay, I think I'm done. I realize that for a game like this there has to be sacrifices in the accuracy department to improve gameplay, but Pandemic went The Alpha-3 "Nimbus" V-wing starfighter (actually an interceptor) immediately comes to mind.

God forbid they get the technical specs for the craft and weaponry at least somewhat accurate(Oh man, I wish I knew how to mod). I was also extremely surprised by the sheer amount of incredibly stupid inaccuracies to Star Wars lore like the wrong engine & weapon sfx, wrong laser bolt colors, and wrong weapon and trooper skins in both versions. Lots of vehicles gamers were clamoring for were cut or never planned for implementation at all. It was like taking three steps forward and five steps back. They had made some great improvements in a few areas and then greatly skimped on a lot of others. What kills me is that for the sequel they axed a few features from the first game that people loved (myself included)like the ability to go in prone and cockpit views for a couple expamples. Lots of features and content were cut from the final version of BF1 and then they did it again with BF2. Guys, Free Radical has expressed major interest in developing for Wii.
